The Waterfront

Take the 2 Day Tour of Seattle!

So you only have 2 days to see Seattle? We've got you covered! Here is a 2 day tour to maximize your time in Seattle!

Here's your tour:

Day One

The Space Needle button Stop 1

Start off your tour at the most iconic of Seattle icons – the Space Needle. Park your car in one of the parking lots that surround the Seattle Center and then head in to see the Needle.

Experience Music Project button Stop 2

After you have had a chance to enjoy the Space Needle, spend a couple hours at the Experience Music Project, which is located right next to the Space Needle. You'll learn the history of Rock music in Seattle, get some hands-on experience with a variety of musical instruments, and browse the exhibits in the Science Fiction Museum.

Pacific Science Center button Stop 3

When you are done at the EMP, check out the Pacific Science Center. Here you can spend some time browsing exhibits, visit the wildly popular Butterfly House, watch a movie on one of the two enormous IMAX screens, or check out a Laser light show.

Monorail button Stop 4

After you are done with your activities at the Seatte Center, hop on the monorail to Westlake - the heart of the Seattle shopping district. You can find all sorts of souvenirs in both the Westlake Center and Pacific Place Mall, and you can check out Nordstrom's flagship store. There are plenty of places to shop and eat here.

Day Two

The Pike Place Market button Stop 5

Start your second day at the Pike Place Market. Browse the shops, see the Flying Fish, watch the street performers, eat some fresh fruit, and pick up souvenirs from your brief stay in Seattle. The Pike Place Market is a must stop for any visit to Seattle.

The Waterfront Stop 6

After you have had a chance to cruise around the Pike Place Market, walk down the Pke Place hill climb to the Waterfront. Enjoy a stroll along the waterfront and browse the shops, and see the views of all the boats passing in and out of the Port of Seattle. You won't want to miss eating lunch at Ivar's.

The Pike Place Market button Stop 7

After spending time on the Waterfront, walk a couple blocks up Yesler and take the Underground Tour. You'll see a side of Seattle that most people don't see, and you'll enjoy the humorous tour guides.

Ferry Ride button Stop 8

At the end of a nice long day of sightseeing, what better way to cap off the day than to take a ferry boat ride. Not only do you get to relax on a boat ride, but you will get some of the most amazing views of Seattle. Here is an insider tip - it is best to walk onto the ferry (it is cheaper that way) and take the ferry in the late afternoon so that your return trip is near sunset.
